How do I know if I have the mk 2 or 2.5 focus? I have a 2008 58 reg 1.6 tdci. Are their any visual differences on the outside? Over the mtec discs it made an huge difference noticeable straight away before the new pads had even bed in. The mtec discs were noisy and the vibration from them under heavy braking was awful. Even when I initially replaced the mintex pads that the car came with with genuine ford pads I noticed an improvement.
